Can two balance boards be used at the same time with the Wii Fit? Or can only one person play at once?

I haven’t bought the wii or the wii fit yet, but am considering it. If I bought two balance boards could two people play the wii fit at once? Or is it only one balance board/person at a time?

It is theoretically possible to have multiple balance boards connected to the wii, they are after all just extra Bluetooth peripherals. However currently the Wii itself does not support multiple balance boards, and there are no games that do either.
Most definitely, Wii Fit does not currently support multiple balance boards.
Apparently Nintendo have not disclosed the reason for this, whether it is a hardware or software limitation etc.

Only one person can play Wii Fit at a time. Im sure in the future, as more games are designed with the Balance Board in mind (such as skateboarding games), they will allow more than one Balance Board to be used.

Only one person is allowed on the balance board , but you can do 2 player jogging.
More two player options is one of the things they should put into wii fit what do you think?
