Does Nintendo plan on creating a new handheld system, a step better than the ds lite?

Likely, Nintendo will stick with the DS Lite as it stands for another two years. It’s highly successful, has a lot of potential, and it would be more difficult to create a backwards compatible new system that’s more advanced enough to be worthwhile.
It’ll be alright, the DS has a lot of good games already, and it’s only going to get better. They might revamp the DS Lite in the next two years, but I honestly doubt it. The design as it is now is really nice.
